Holiday Tops with Festive Flare

Green Stripe top with Red Bow Clutch

The holidays open the door for festive attire more than any other time of the year.  Sparkles and sequins, red and green stripes, fascinators with Santa, the sky is the limit.  I’ve seen so many festive outfits and holiday looks that I just adore!  In showcasing my line of Leslie Dasch Cocktail Clutches, it’s been fun to pair each clutch with a bright holiday look.  And there’s one top that gets so much attention – it’s my green and white striped top with bell sleeves!  If I told you how much I paid for it, you’d gasp…in a good way.  And to my surprise it’s even less now!!  So I’ve linked it here along with some other fun looks.

As you’ve probably gathered by now, I love a bow.  Bows just spiffy things up in the most feminine and delightful fashion.  If the top I want to wear doesn’t have a bow on it, I often wrap a pretty scarf around my neck and tie it up in a bow, off to the side, in front, or with tails down the back.  The day I met Joy Mangano, (think Miracle Mop/ HSN fame), I tied a periwinkle scarf into a bow, and she picked me out of the crowd for my stand-out style.

So when I find a top that has a bow already on it, I love to snatch them up!  I recently purchased a white blousy bow-tie dress, but found it to be too see-through.  I hemmed it and now wear it as a blouse.  It will get so much more use as a blouse than a dress, so I’m glad I did it.  Here it is along with some others I love.

Hope your holidays are festive and filled with color and bows!!
